Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed independent practitioner responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with venous disease, including varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. The NP coordinates comprehensive patient care in accordance with State and Federal regulations, facility policies, and established nursing standards of care, including assessment, diagnosis, development and implementation of treatment plans, and ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes. Licensed independent practitioner providing evaluation and management of patients with venous disease, including varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. Performs comprehensive, age-appropriate histories and physical examinations focused on venous disorders. Reviews and interprets venous duplex ultrasound studies to guide diagnosis and treatment planning. Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, including compression therapy and post-procedure care. Assists with and/or performs vein procedures in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Manages pre-procedure preparation and postoperative follow-up care. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care. Educates patients and families on venous disease, treatment options, and aftercare. Facilitates patient transitions, follow-up, and continuity of care.
Pay:
$70.00 - $75.00 per hour
