Job Description

Seeking Licensed Vocational Nurse for Busy Practice San Francisco, CA From $32 an hour - Full-time From $32 an hour - Full-time Our integrated clinical practice is looking for a LVN for one of our Physicians. The candidate must be highly professional, personable, and share our commitment to outstanding patient care and service.
Responsibilities:
Greeting, rooming patients and updates patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information Perform general medical tasks in addition to allergy and pulmonary function testing Speak with patients about symptom management Prepare medications and allergy serums, and perform injections Be active in educating patients on immunotherapy treatment and asthma management Enter notes and information into EHR system during and after patient visits (Scanning & typing) Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies Be a liaison between the patient and the physician Perform other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned
Required Skills:
Committed to patient care by demonstrating compassion Excellent multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail Ability to prioritize, be flexible and a quick learner Excellent communication skills - both oral and written Ability to deal proactively with situations and work co-operatively with other staff and management to meet the changing needs of the office Strong work ethics, reliability and punctuality
Desired Skills:
LVN Medical Assisting or EMT certification BLS or ACLS license(s) and EMR/EHR experience Prior health care-related experience We offer a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, EAP and 401K.
