Job Description

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse works in a variety of remote or clinic settings to serve a specific population's health and/or wellness needs. These variety of sites include but are not limited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, job safety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatric to geriatric age populations. The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the supervision of an RN or Physician. The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in providing safe, quality patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in state where they are practicing One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic setting preferred Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age ??
