Job Description

LVN Field Nurse - Mobile Wound Care Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, California Ventura Wound Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing mobile wound care team. This position is primarily field-based and focuses on providing Ultramist treatments and wound care support to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other community settings throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. This is an excellent opportunity for an LVN who enjoys patient care, values autonomy, and is interested in developing specialized skills in advanced wound care. The position offers direct collaboration with our physician and advanced practice providers through telehealth and in-person clinical support. Responsibilities Travel to patient locations throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties to perform Ultramist treatments and wound care services as directed by the provider Participate in telehealth visits with the physician to support patient assessments and treatment planning Perform wound measurements, photographs, and documentation within the electronic health record Assist with dressing changes and implementation of physician-ordered treatment plans Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the clinical team Coordinate with patients, caregivers, home health agencies, and facility staff as needed Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Represent the practice professionally while delivering exceptional patient care Qualifications Current California LVN license in good standing Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with a remote clinical team Comfortable using technology, mobile devices, and electronic health records Wound care experience preferred but not required Compensation and Benefits $50-60 per completed patient visit, depending on location and experience Paid mileage reimbursement Paid wound care and Ultramist training Direct mentorship from an experienced physician-led wound care team Flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time opportunities available Opportunity to learn advanced wound care technologies and treatment modalities Significant opportunity for professional growth and advancement within a rapidly growing specialty practice This role is ideal for an LVN who enjoys working directly with patients, values flexibility and independence, and wants to build expertise in advanced wound care while being supported by an experienced physician-led team.
