Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract A school district in Marina Del Ray, CA, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the 2025-2026 extended school year. This part-time, onsite position supports student health and wellness during the summer session.

Marina Del Ray, CA Position Details:

Part-time schedule: 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM Contract period: June 15 through July 12 Onsite position supporting student health needs during the extended school year Weekly pay, starting at $37 per hour

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and monitoring health conditions Assist with health screenings and maintain accurate health records Collaborate with school staff to support individualized health plans and ensure students' safety Respond appropriately to emergencies and health concerns throughout the school day Promote a healthy and safe school environment

Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential in good standing Experience working in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care to children and adolescents Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school personnel Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred This opportunity offers a rewarding part-time role in a vibrant school setting supporting student health during the summer break.
