Job Description
- Duties
- As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of individuals under your supervision.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or abnormalities
- Assisting with medical procedures such as , spinal taps, and phlebotomy
- Providing wound care and ostomy care, picc line, central line, wound vacc care, IV antibiotics
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educating patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Performing triage to prioritize patient needs in emergency situations
- Skills
- To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and documentation
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to perform tasks such as phlebotomizing and administering inhalation therapy
- Knowledge of geriatric care and experience in assisted living settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers and elderly individuals
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
- Home Health experience is
