Job Description

  • Duties
  • As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of individuals under your supervision.
Your duties will include:
  • Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or abnormalities
  • Assisting with medical procedures such as , spinal taps, and phlebotomy
  • Providing wound care and ostomy care, picc line, central line, wound vacc care, IV antibiotics
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educating patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
  • Performing triage to prioritize patient needs in emergency situations
  • Skills
  • To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
  • Proficiency in medical office procedures and documentation
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to perform tasks such as phlebotomizing and administering inhalation therapy
  • Knowledge of geriatric care and experience in assisted living settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers and elderly individuals
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Home Health experience is
