In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing services across various settings, including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, emergency departments, and specialized care areas. Your clinical skills and dedication will help ensure optimal health outcomes while supporting a safe and efficient healthcare environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, anatomy and physiology evaluations, and medical history reviews to determine appropriate care plans. Administer medications, injections, IV insertions, and other treatments following strict protocols and safety guidelines. Document all patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patient responses to treatments, manage medical documentation, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Assist in emergency situations by providing immediate first aid, supporting trauma protocols in Level I Trauma Center environments, and participating in rapid response efforts. Support infection control practices and ensure adherence to safety standards across all patient care activities. Contribute to outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, or specialty units such as PICU or geriatrics by delivering specialized nursing interventions tailored to each patient population. Requirements Valid LPN or RN license with current licensure in the applicable state. Proven experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or trauma centers; Level II trauma center experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration protocols. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management. Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture, IV insertion, and injection administration competently. Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to respond swiftly in urgent or critical situations such as emergency room or trauma scenarios. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications like ACLS or PALS are advantageous for specialized roles such as PICU or post-acute care settings. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (school experience), geriatrics, or outpatient clinics is a plus.
