Job Description About The Village:
The Village was one of the first agencies in the country to provide homes for neglected children. Shift hours:
Saturday and Sunday:
3pm-11 $27
  • 30 per hour commensurate with experience 2nd shift (3:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM): $3.00 per hour. 3rd shift (11:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM): $2.
50 per hour. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides direct care and nursing services within their scope of practice to clients as prescribed by program regulations Obtains client data and vital signs and reports findings to the RN/Nursing Supervisor/Licensed prescriber Documents nursing progress notes as needed Provides discharge teaching and summary Monitors for efficacy and side effects of medications Develops nursing care plans for children with medical needs under RN supervision Participates in multidisciplinary Rounds Collaborates with psychiatrists to coordinate the psychiatric care of clients throughout their treatment course Provides first aid Monitors medical and dental health parameters of clients and collaborates with health care providers in the community under RN supervision Maintains records, including but not limited to Medication Administration, medical records, etc. Maintains medication cart and emergency medication supplies Assists psychiatrists with communication and coordination with parents/guardians, school, pharmacies, and health care providers Experience and Skills
EDUCATION
Must hold a current LPN license in CT CPR certified
EXPERIENCE
