Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Per Diem Putnam, CT 06260 Per diem Per diem Revv Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a per diem opportunity in Putnam, CT .
Position Overview The LPN functions as an office nurse, supporting providers and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical operations. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while helping maintain efficient workflow between patients, providers, and support staff. Key Responsibilities Assist providers by documenting chief complaints and vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, head circumference as applicable) Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper stocking of medical and educational supplies Support patient flow and room assignments for providers Reinforce education and care instructions with patients and caregivers following provider consultation Answer patient questions or escalate to provider when appropriate Administer immunizations and maintain accurate records in accordance with Connecticut state requirements Perform clinical tasks including strep testing, allergy shots, and specimen handling Monitor and communicate test results, including coordinating follow-ups and pharmacy calls under provider direction Assist with minor procedures (e.g., sutures, PKU testing, lumbar punctures) Retrieve lab and imaging results as requested Order and manage medical supplies and equipment Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all policies and protocols Support culturally competent care, addressing dietary, language, and communication needs Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Required Active Connecticut LPN License
  • Required High School Diploma
  • Required (college coursework preferred) Minimum of 2 years LPN experience in a hospital or office setting

8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Hospital-affiliated clinical setting
