Role DescriptionThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role at Senior Helpers South Palm Beach is a full-time hourly position, located in Boynton Beach, FL.Responsibilities include providing compassionate nursing care to elderly clients, including monitoring health conditions, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
The LPN will collaborate with other caregivers to create and follow individualized care plans and ensure compliance with established care standards.
Additional duties may include documentation, reporting changes in client conditions, and offering support and education to clients and their families.
QualificationsLicensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of FloridaProficiency in providing personal and medical care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide education and emotional support to clients and their familiesAbility to complete documentation accurately and efficientlyFamiliarity with elderly care, Alzheimer's, dementia care, and other age-related illnesses is preferredCompassion, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for senior clientsPrior experience in home health or senior care services is a plusBasic computer skills for maintaining electronic health records, Wellsky exp a plus.
