Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living Elan Assisted Living in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our vibrant community. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and welcoming environment. The position is scheduled for the second shift, offering a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility Document all care provided and maintain accurate resident records Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid and current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure At Elan Assisted Living, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, respectful, and growth-oriented environment.
