Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time PRN Waters Edge of Bradenton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team at our assisted living community. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established protocols Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support Document all care provided accurately and timely in residents' medical records Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid and current LPN license in the state of Florida Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems At Waters Edge of Bradenton, we foster a warm, welcoming environment where our team members are valued and supported.
