Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Locations:
Springbrook Hospital Position Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our behavioral health treatment team. The LPN provides direct patient care, administers medications, supports therapeutic programming, and promotes patient wellness in a psychiatric and/or substance abuse treatment setting. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols Monitor patient conditions and document observations accurately Assist patients with activities of daily living and health education Support therapeutic interventions and crisis management Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team collaboration Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation Respond appropriately to psychiatric and medical emergencies Assist with patient admissions, assessments, and discharge planning Provide support and guidance to Mental Health Technicians and team members Qualifications Current LPN license in the State of Florida Current CPR Certification required One year of psychiatric or chemical dependency experience preferred Knowledge of behavioral health nursing practices and medication administration Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Benefits Supportive behavioral health team environment Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education
