PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Skilled Nursing Unit (Night Shift) Northwest Florida Community Hospital - Chipley, FL Northwest Florida Community Hospital (NFCH) is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing Unit for night shifts. This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a patient-centered environment and values teamwork, quality care, and flexibility. Position Summary The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care to residents in the Skilled Nursing Unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity during overnight hours. Schedule PRN (as needed) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and treatments Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and report changes to RN/provider Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policy Respond to patient needs promptly and professionally Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines Qualifications Current Florida LPN license (active and in good standing) Current BLS certification (required) Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Why Join NFCH?
