• Responsibilities
• LPN•

Inpatient:

• + Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.

SIPP Only:

Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

• Education:

• + HS Graduate or Equivalent GED. + Technical Program Completion or Degree in Practical Nurse Program. + OR applicants who have successfully completed the Practical Nurse Equivalency (PNEQ).

• Required Experience:

• + 6 months Acute Care as a Patient Care Technician, Practical Nurse Apprentice, or Practical Nurse Intern (or a combination of time within these 3 roles). + Or 6 months Acute Care as an LPN.

• Required Certifications and Licensure:

• + BLS (Basic Life Support). + LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
• State of Florida. + Preferred
• ACLS (Cardiovascular)
• Unit Specific. + Successful completion of the 30-hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however, this is not required for SIPP. Come join our wonderful team!
