IV Certification Full Job Description Now Hiring:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - IV Therapy (Mental Health Practice) We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing mental health practice. The ideal candidate will have IV Therapy certification , experience administering IV ketamine infusions a plus but not required , and a strong commitment to providing safe, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting. We are looking for the hours as follows, Monday & Thursday 9:30am to 5:00, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 1:00 to 5:00pm. No weekends or over nights.

Responsibilities:

Administer IV therapies, including ketamine infusions, in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and state regulations. Monitor patients before, during, and after ketamine treatments, including assessing vital signs, mental status, and patient response. Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or medical emergencies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to provide high-quality mental health care. Ensure compliance with infection control, medication administration, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Current IV Therapy certification (required). Experience administering and monitoring IV ketamine infusions (required). Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (required). Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills. Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, infusion therapy, or a related specialty is preferred.
