LPN/ RN Phone Triage

Summary :

We are a private practice looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and professional. This position is available for both part-time and full-time, with flexible hours. The ultimate candidate will help our physicians reduce their patient load by helping patients with minor health issues. Determine whether they need emergency medical attention, or should be seen in our office.

Responsibilities:

In this role, the ultimate candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, reviewing and sending prescriptions, and reviewing and sending prior authorizations for these medications as needed. Work with insurance companies, DME companies, and specialty pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate information has been communicated, from start to finish. Following up with our patient's parents, to keep them well informed of your progress. You would also be fielding many phone calls in regard to our parents' questions and concerns. You would be working closely with our providers, and our Medical assistants, and provide hands-on patient care, as needed.

Qualifications:

This candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, love children, and be a team player. You must be comfortable and able to administer injections in a pediatric setting. You must also be experienced with dosage calculations and prescription review. You must have and provide an active Florida license. Please, provide us with your education, experience, or Certifications. Bilingual preferred, but not required. Employment Type Full-time -
