- Job Summary and Qualifications
- As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you'll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- + Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly + Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence + Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly + Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination + Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques + Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care •What qualifications you will need:•+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + IV Therapy must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date + (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse + Vocational School Graduate No Travel Required No experience Required Years of Experience •Benefits•HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
