The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including inpatient facilities and home care environments. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care protocols, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Available Shift:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday (or Saturday, Sunday, Monday) 8am-4pm Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including IV infusions and pain management therapies. Monitor patients' vital signs, health status, and response to treatments, ensuring timely interventions when necessary. Assist in discharge planning by educating patients and families about post-treatment care and follow-up. Collaborate with case management teams to develop individualized care plans for patients. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information. Provide support in a Level I Trauma Center environment, assisting with emergency care as needed. Utilize knowledge of physiology to assess patient conditions and contribute to effective treatment strategies. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills and stay current with best practices in patient care. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in inpatient care or home care settings is preferred. Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and pain management practices is highly desirable. Strong understanding of case management processes and discharge planning. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
