We invite you to become part of Avante, the world of enhanced rehabilitation and healing. Specializing in short and long-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Now under new Director of Nursing and new Director of Therapy.
Responsibilities:
The LPN will supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing Services or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. LPN/RN charge nurses are to exercise supervisory authority even at times that RNs are on duty and must exercise discretion and independent judgment to ensure proper discipline and productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Must be Licensed in Florida in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
  • Must be 18 years of age due to hours worked
  • Completion of secondary education or otherwise show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner.
  • Due to the nature of the job, must speak and understand English
  • Must be able to supervise and instruct others.
  • Previous supervisory experience or completion of appropriate training program, or as required by state law.
  • Must maintain current CPR certification
  • Ability to connect with and serve a mature audience
  • Employer conducts background check
