In this role, you will administer or assist with self administration of medications, monitor resident health status, coordinate with health care provider with any changes, document as required and supervise floor staff. Duties be performed in compliance with Florida AHCA regulations under the direction of the RN supervisor. Responsibilities

Administer Medications:

Safely pass oral, topical, and injectable medications (including insulin) as needed and supervise self-administration.

Monitor Vitals:

Check, track, and record blood pressure, pulse, and blood sugar levels regularly.

• Provide Wound Care as needed: Clean, treat, and dress minor wounds and skin tears according to physician orders.

Document Health Changes:

Chart daily resident progress and promptly report status updates to the supervising RN.

• Process/follow up on

Doctor Orders:

Follow up on nee orders, update care charts, and coordinate with pharmacies.

Supervise Care Staff:

Direct daily tasks and monitor the work performance of CNAs and resident care aides.

Support Daily Activities:

Assist residents as needed with bathing, dressing, and mobility during clinical health declines.

• Respond to

Emergencies:

Deliver immediate first aid and coordinate emergency services during medical crises. Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Florida LPN license.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of Florida AHCA regulations for assisted living facilities

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
