Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Pediatric Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our growing PPEC team. The Nurse will provide direct nursing care to medically fragile and technologically dependent children while collaborating with caregivers, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with children and families while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Duties Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications, treatments, and enteral feedings as prescribed Manage and monitor medical equipment, including tracheostomies, ventilators, and feeding tubes Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans Communicate effectively with families and caregivers Qualifications Current Florida Nursing license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Pediatric nursing experience preferred Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and/or G-tube care preferred Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
