Job Description:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, environmental, and developmental health status. Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely, monitor patient responses, and document all related activities accurately. Document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in medical records to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and preventive care. Collaborate with healthcare providers, specialists, and support staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements.
  • The LPN will display proficient clinical skills and critical thinking skills with strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with an electronic health record.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation proficiency as required by unit specialty.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practices.
Education:
  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
  • Technical/Vocational School [Required]
Field of Study:
    N/A Work Experience:
    • 1+ in an acute care setting [Preferred]

    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
    • NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program [Preferred]
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
