Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while working under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications, and assisting in various medical procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers. Provide basic life support and emergency care when necessary. Document medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately. Assist in urgent care situations and outpatient procedures. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician. Offer support and education to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness practices. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with health regulations. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of physiology and basic medical principles. Experience in geriatrics or urgent care settings is preferred. Proficient in medical documentation practices. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Experience administering injections is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and empathy. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
