LPN Qualifications :
Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN. Current BLS certification. One year experience as a staff nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other medical care facility with at least 6 months supervisory experience. Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN Job Summary:
Periodically review the resident's discharge plan and participates in its updating as required. Complete accident/incident reports for submission to the Nursing Department by the end of your shift. Make daily rounds of your unit to ensure that nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments. Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc. Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility. Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician. Notify the resident's attending physician and family member when there is a change in the resident's condition.
