In this vital role, you will provide specialized nursing services, administer IV infusions, and support patients across various settings including acute care, long-term care, assisted living, and community health environments. Responsibilities Administer IV infusions accurately and safely, following established protocols and ensuring patient comfort Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations Manage catheterizations, venipuncture procedures, and sterile techniques with precision and adherence to infection control standards Document all patient interactions thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner Assist with medication administration including injections, and specialized treatments Qualification Valid licensure as an LPN with active IV certification recognized by state licensing boards Proven experience with IV infusion therapy in settings such as hospital ICU, emergency room, or long-term care facilities Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate documentation and diagnostic evaluation Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for efficient patient record management Ability to perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheter care, and sterile procedures confidently Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with a compassionate approach to senior care, pediatric patients or those requiring complex interventions such as tube feeding or spinal taps Join us to deliver exceptional care that elevates patient outcomes through expert IV therapy and compassionate service.
