Adult Day Care Setting Details:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing services in an adult day care setting. This position is ideal for a retired nurse who maintains an active nursing license and enjoys working with elderly and disabled individuals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administering medications as prescribed. Monitoring and documenting clients' health status. Assisting with feeding and personal care needs. Ensuring the safety, well-being, and supervision of clients throughout the day. Supporting and participating in daily program activities. Communicating effectively with clients, families, and staff regarding health-related concerns. Maintaining accurate medical records and complying with all applicable regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
Current and active LPN or RN license. Strong desire and commitment to working with the elderly and disabled population. Ability to safely lift and assist clients weighing 50 pounds or more. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented approach to care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and individuals with disabilities while working in a supportive and engaging environment.
Hours:
Open Mon-Friday 7am-6pm. Our facility is closed on the weekend.
