Description Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - The Grove Winter Springs | Part-Time | Non-Exempt Starting Pay $23.00 per hour |Higher depending on exp. and education Make an Impact Where It Matters Most IMPOWER is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at The Grove, our adolescent residential substance abuse treatment program serving youth ages 13-17. As part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, you will provide hands-on nursing care, support medical services, and help ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we serve. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established medical and program protocols Support admissions by completing health screenings, assessments, and follow-up care Respond to medical concerns, provide first-line care, and coordinate referrals as needed Administer medications, treatments, and injections; perform routine clinical procedures (vitals, labs, TB screenings, etc.) Coordinate laboratory testing, review results, and communicate findings appropriately Collaborate with the Medical Director, Clinical Director, program staff, and families regarding care and treatment needs Assist with medication management, including preparation, administration, and MAR review Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Promote a safe and sanitary environment through infection control practices Provide health education and support to individuals served Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Ensure compliance with all IMPOWER policies, HIPAA standards, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Florida Graduate of an accredited nursing program Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential settings preferred Successfully complete a Level II background screening, local law check, and drug screen Valid driver's license and auto insurance Why Join IMPOWER Mission-driven work that makes a real difference Collaborative, multi-disciplinary care environment Opportunity to make a meaningful clinical impact in behavioral health IMPOWER is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
