1061 ACC Canton•LPN Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a dedicated oncology team in Canton, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience working within a specialty care setting. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends or on-call requirements. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and clinical procedures. Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to facility policies. Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Adhere to all safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards. Requirements Licensure Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Georgia. Certifications Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required. Oncology or outpatient clinic experience preferred. Additional Requirements No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced specialty clinic environment.
