Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 care for an elementary student with complex medical needs in Hampton, GA. This is a highly rewarding role supporting a student who requires consistent, hands-on medical and daily living assistance throughout the school day and during transportation. Bus pickup appx. 6:15 AM.
Key Responsibilities
Provide continuous 1:1 nursing support for a student with a traumatic brain injury (TBI)
Manage and monitor:
Seizure activity and response
G-tube feedings
Medication administration (med-load)
Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs) due to full dependence
Ride the school bus/van with the student to and from home each day
(Transportation time is fully paid)
Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with school staff
Requirements
Active Georgia LPN license
Experience with:
Seizure monitoring
G-tube care
Medication administration
Experience with TBI or high-acuity students preferred
Comfortable supporting a fully dependent student
Reliable, patient-focused, and team-oriented
