RN / LPN Pediatric In-Home Care (Part-Time, 1 Day/Week)

Job Overview BraveHearts Home Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for a 19-year-old client diagnosed with Autism (Level 3) and seizure disorder. This is a low-hour, consistent weekly position , ideal for a nurse looking to supplement their schedule while making a meaningful impact in a family-centered environment. The client is nonverbal but responsive to prompts , with a petite build, and requires support with initiating daily routines and activities. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations specific to patients. Assist client with morning routine and daily activities Provide prompting and behavioral support to help initiate tasks Support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene and dressing Monitor for seizure activity and ensure safety Maintain a calm, structured, and supportive environment Communicate effectively with family regarding care and observations Requirements Active RN or LPN license (Georgia) CPR & First Aid Certification (current) Negative TB test (up to date) Background check (clear and current) Experience with Autism and/or seizure care preferred Patient, reliable, and comfortable working in a family home setting Schedule 1 day per week 4-hour shift (11am-3pm) Flexible scheduling with family coordination Immediate start available Work Setting One-on-one care in the client's home Supportive and involved family environment Opportunity to build a meaningful connection with the client Pay & Bonus $35-$50 per hour (based on RN or LPN license and experience) $200 retention bonus after 45 days of employment
