Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PACU Experience

Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with specialized experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to deliver high-quality care to our surgical patients. This position is Full Time , 40 hours a week. (4-10 hr shifts with alternating days off)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the PACU, including monitoring vital signs, and recovery status. Collaborate closely with physicians, CRNAs, RNs and Endoscopy Tech's to ensure safe post-operative patient care. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and policies. Educate patients and families on post-operative care, instructions, and safety precautions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records. Current EMR is gGastro/ModMed. Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.

Qualifications:

Valid LPN license in the state of Georgia. Minimum of 3 years of LPN experience and PACU experience required . Knowledge of post-operative care, anesthesia recovery protocols, and patient monitoring. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
