Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across diverse settings, including long-term care, assisted living, acute care, and community health environments. Your expertise will support patient recovery, comfort, and well-being through skilled nursing interventions, medication administration, and comprehensive assessments. Duties Perform detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and immunizations. Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing signs of deterioration or improvement to escalate care when necessary. Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, wound suturing, and tube feeding while maintaining aseptic techniques. Document all patient interactions thoroughly using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in discharge planning, case management, and post-acute care coordination. Support specialized care needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care, hospice services, and behavioral health management. Skills Proven experience with Epic EHR systems and medical documentation standards. Strong background in critical care settings including ICU or Level I Trauma Center experience preferred. Knowledge of
ICD-9/10
coding for accurate medical recordkeeping and billing processes. Skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration, and sterile processing techniques. Familiarity with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Excellent assessment skills with the ability to recognize acute pain or infection signs promptly. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in emergency medicine or urgent care environments while maintaining compassion and professionalism. Pay:
$21.50 - $34.00 per hour
