Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient assessment skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care in diverse settings. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services, coordinating patient care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding, and ostomy care when necessary. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth to document patient information accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Monitor patients' physiological responses during treatments such as dialysis, ventilator management, or critical care interventions. Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain patient safety. Provide education and health coaching to patients and their families regarding disease management, medication administration, and post-discharge care. Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration in the relevant state or jurisdiction. Proven experience in acute care settings such as ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers; Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, geriatrics, or behavioral health environments. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) is advantageous. Critical care experience with ventilator management, airway management, and advanced life support certifications such as BLS or ACLS. Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile processing procedures. Ability to perform complex procedures including phlebotomy, venipuncture, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and diagnostic evaluations. Strong communication skills combined with compassionate patient care approach; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus. $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
