LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including home community care, outpatient clinics, and ICU environments. This position offers an opportunity to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and provide essential medical care. Duties

• Conduct physical examinations and record patient medical histories
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Perform medical procedures such as gastric lavage, tube feeding, and ventilator management
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with medical imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities and ensure their well-being
• Educate patients and their families on health management techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care Requirements
• Valid LPN license in the GA
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
• Proficiency in conducting physical assessments and administering medications
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
