Early morning hours required. Monday-Friday 5:30 am- 1:30 pm Rotating Saturdays On the weeks that you work a Saturday, you will leave at 11:30am the Thursday prior and the Tuesday following that Saturday About Us We are an outpatient opioid treatment program dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals seeking recovery from opioid use disorder. We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. You will be joining 3 other LPNs Position Summary The LPN plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medication, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the overall clinical operations of the treatment program. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent patient assessment abilities, and a commitment to teamwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review and enter physician orders prior to medicating patients. Review patient information in the electronic medical record prior to dosing. Receive and process verbal physician orders as needed. Document nursing notes accurately and timely. Enter physician orders into the electronic health record system. Follow all dosing protocols and procedures consistently. Prepare medication doses under the direction and supervision of the pharmacist. Label medication bottles in preparation for pharmacy dispensing. Assess patients for signs of impairment, illness, or other concerns prior to dosing. Assist with intake and annual physical examinations. Audit and inventory total milligrams administered daily. Review and reconcile all take-home medication doses and total milligrams dispensed at the end of each day. Audit individual unit-dose medications and conduct daily safe counts. Assist the pharmacist with pharmacy-related functions. Complete required continuing education units (CEUs). Safely handle medication doses and complete incident reports for spills or discrepancies. Run required reports daily. Electronically sign all required documentation before the end of each business day. Maintain a clean, organized dosing area and pharmacy workspace. Work collaboratively and professionally with all team members. Qualifications Current Multistate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and 42 CFR regulations. Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred but not required. Ability to work early morning hours and maintain dependable attendance.
