School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) | Winder, Georgia BlazerJobs - 3.4 Winder, GA Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications LPN Full Job Description Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students in an educational setting near Winder, GA. Use your skills as an LPN/LVN to make a positive impact as you provide compassionate, hands-on care to two students throughout their school day—including riding the bus with them to and from school to ensure their health and safety. You'll become an integral member of a supportive team comprising educators, paraprofessionals, and a school nurse, all working together to deliver comprehensive support.
Key Qualifications:
Active LPN license in Georgia is a must Experience in pediatric, school-based, or special education nursing is a plus Strongly prefer a background working with medically fragile children Team-oriented approach, able to collaborate effectively Exceptional communication and documentation abilities Candidates will need to provide three professional references, including a recent supervisor, before scheduling an interview
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to two assigned elementary students Provide support during student transportation each school day Monitor and implement individualized care according to physician instructions Address medical concerns and respond to emergencies within the school environment Ensure comprehensive record-keeping and documentation of every interaction Work closely with educational staff, parents, and district personnel Prioritize safety and facilitate students' engagement with school programs
Preferred Experience:
