Pay Rate:

$32 / hour

Shifts Available:

Full-time (4 days a week ok) day shift (0600-1430) and/or evening (1400-2230) shift, with weekend availability

Job Responsibilities:

We need someone to coordinate scheduling medical appointments for out of facility consultants. They will be working closely with security and medical staff. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Maintain accurate patient medical records Provide companionship and basic care to patients Administer prescribed medications to patients

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of HI. A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English. First time Licensed Practical Nurse must have 6 months of recent (within the last 3 years) nursing experience gained within a hospital or similar acute care setting Correctional experience is preferred but open to reviewing candidates that don't have correctional experience.
