LPN FT 2nd Shift and PT 3rd Shift

We are a non-profit facility that provides quality, Christian care to our residents. We have skilled and long term units and a separate Memory Care Unit. We are now hiring LPN professionals; must be kind, caring, and dependable. The ideal candidate will be experienced with providing nursing care in a long term care setting. Low level of acuity, clean working environment, and weekly direct deposit. Looking for Full-time Evening shift and Part-Time night shift nurses

Responsibilities:

Supervise unit and CNAs providing resident care Communicate with interdisciplinary team, including physicians, as needed Implement care plan and observe resident's condition. Assess patients' condition including VS, fluid intake and output, physical assessments and complete necessary documentation Perform treatments and identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. Provide emotional and psychological support Communicate with resident and resident's family regarding care, comfort and care plan. SKILLS Compassionate and able to handle stress Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks Collect samples for lab testing as assigned Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. Basic computer knowledge; i.e. PointClickCare for electronic health records. Successful completion of LPN program and IA license required
