LPN - Pediatric Private Duty Nurse for Eldora, IA area

This job is for a Private Duty pediatric nursing position located in the Eldora, IA area. NO weekends and NO holidays. This position is full time and the hours worked would be weekday, dayshift hours. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding, yet flexible environment!! The Private Duty LPN will assist in the care of a special needs child in the child's home during the week days by performing professional nursing care services. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Assessing patient's condition, taking vitals, distributing medications, implementing patient care plans as directed by the RN case manager, evaluating patient responses to services/care provided and documenting care delivered. Assisting the child in their therapy programs in or outside of the home. Attend school with the child •if he/she attends in person school, the typical hours for school are not "full time" school hours.•

You may take the child to the park, library, pool, zoo, etc. if you would like to!

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires current LPN license for the State of Iowa. Professional nursing experience preferred New Grads are welcome
