Job Description

Overview We are a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lewiston, Idaho, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our DAY Shift team. This role is critical in providing high-quality care to patients of the geriatric population and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay. Shifts typically go from 6am to 6pm, on a "wagon wheel" schedule: Week 1: Work Monday-Tuesday Off Wednesday-Thursday Work Friday-Saturday-Sunday Week 2: Off Monday-Tuesday Work Wednesday-Thursday Off Friday-Saturday-Sunday Responsibilities Provides direct care and/or assists with care as directed and consistent with their scope of practice and competency. Participates in resident evaluations and care planning activities, reviews and revises residents' assessments and care plans as needed to the extent permitted by state nurse practice act. Coordinates residents' care activities and communicates changes to other team members and resident family/significant other. Documents care performed and observations of resident status in the clinical record promptly by utilizing standard clinical documentation guidelines as required by the company, and local, state and federal rules and regulations. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
