Company Overview Wellspring Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing comprehensive long-term and acute care services. Our 120-bed facility specializes in caring for residents with complex medical conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer's, ventilator dependence, and wound healing, fostering a fast-paced yet supportive environment where staff truly connect with residents and their families. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for full-time night shifts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting that emphasizes personalized patient care, clinical excellence, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for improving patient outcomes during overnight hours. Duties Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents with diverse medical needs, including acute and chronic conditions. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments such as IV infusions, wound care, and catheterization in accordance with physician orders. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify changes in condition and implement appropriate interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans aligned with residents' needs. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards and infection control protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing advanced skills in airway management, ventilator support, and acute pain management. Skills Proven experience in acute care settings such as hospital medicine, ICU, or trauma centers; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is highly valued. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and diagnostic evaluation procedures. Skilled in performing complex procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, sterile processing, and laboratory specimen collection. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is preferred; familiarity with memory care practices is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of patient safety. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care; capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
