$30-$38/hour, based on experience Tasks About the Role A healthcare organization in the North Shore Chicago area is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care in a professional clinical or care-based setting. This role is a great fit for an LPN who is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working closely with RNs, physicians, care teams, patients, and families. The LPN will assist with daily nursing care, medication administration, documentation, patient monitoring, and communication with the broader care team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to provide warm, respectful care while following clinical procedures and safety standards. Requirements Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN, physician, or clinical manager Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and facility protocols Monitor patient condition and report changes to the appropriate clinical team member Assist with patient assessments, vitals, documentation, and care coordination Support patients with daily care needs while maintaining dignity and comfort Communicate professionally with patients, families, and internal care teams Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow infection control, safety, privacy, and compliance procedures Help support a calm, organized, and patient-centered care environment Qualifications Active Illinois LPN license in good standing New graduates are welcome to apply Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy care environment Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, clinic, home health, or long-term care is a plus Benefits What's Offered Competitive hourly pay for the North Shore Chicago market Supportive care team environment Opportunity to work with patients and families in a meaningful care setting Full-time schedule with potential for long-term growth Training and onboarding support
