Full-Time, Monday•Friday, 8:00 a.m.•5:00 p.m., with some variability based on departmental needs About the
Role:
The LPN/Medical Assistant•Geriatrics supports providers in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to an aging population. This role focuses on assisting with clinical care, coordinating patient needs, and supporting chronic disease management in a collaborative team environment. This position plays an important role in helping patients maintain quality of life through consistent care, communication, and support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care by obtaining vital signs, collecting medical histories, and documenting accurately in EPIC. Support providers during patient visits, treatments, and procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Assist with medication management, prescription refill requests, prior authorizations, and follow-up care coordination. Communicate with patients, families, pharmacies, and care facilities to support continuity of care and address patient needs. Monitor patient concerns and escalate clinical issues appropriately. Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical documentation while contributing to efficient daily clinic operations and a positive patient experience. Benefits & Compensation •

Qualifications:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Illinois OR Medical Assistant certification preferred CPR certification required Previous clinical experience preferred; geriatrics or primary care experience is a plus Strong communication and patient relationship skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn EPIC Discover Your Future at Quincy Medical Group!
