Day, Evening, and Night Shift Job Summary:
Wheaton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a RN/LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, while also supporting our nursing team in meeting the needs of our residents and their families.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate understanding and utilize nursing policies and procedures in the administration of resident care Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere Complete all required documentation pertaining to resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians Make rounds throughout the shift to continuously monitor and assess resident conditions Ensure that all call lights are answered timely and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are monitored frequently
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Illinois Must be able to lift and/or move residents as needed
