Duties & Responsibilities:
Work up and room patients, assist providers with all aspects of direct patient care in a pediatric setting including, but not limited to, vitals capture, immunization and other injection administration, and breathing treatments. Ensures patients and patient care areas are prepared for examinations and office procedures. Triage patient calls and route / handle appropriately per physician orders. Process lab, radiology and referral requests per physician orders. Note that the candidate hired for this position will be expected to spend approximately half the time on phone triage and half the time with direct patient care.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be licensed LPN or RN in the state of SC. Experience in duties listed above, and proven track record of working well with coworkers and patients, handling stressful situations appropriately, and compassion. Preferred candidate will have experience with pediatrics.
