Company Overview Team Select is a nationally recognized provider of Private Duty Nursing (PDN) and in-home healthcare services. Since 2008, we have delivered compassionate, high-quality clinical care in the comfort of patients' homes, supporting medically complex individuals and their families across multiple regions. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our private duty team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs in their homes. Your expertise will ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care while fostering trusting relationships with patients and their families. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring long-term or acute care. We have multiple pediatric and adult patients in the Columbus area who require nursing care 1 on 1. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to each patient's specific medical conditions, including medication administration, seizure precaution, and vital signs monitoring. Assist with complex procedures such as tube feeding, trach, and vent care ensuring adherence to proper techniques and safety protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and identify evolving needs for ongoing care planning. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and family members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Manage acute pain episodes and participate in discharge planning for patients transitioning from hospital or facility-based care to home. Skills Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Strong background in home health care, hospice, long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings. Adept at managing airway devices such as ventilators is desirable. Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills within multidisciplinary teams. Experience working with pediatric populations—including neonatal ventilator management—and adult patients requiring complex chronic condition management is a plus. CBSRN Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
