Job Description

We are a reputable healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional medical services to a diverse community in the Evansville, IN area. We are currently seeking a part-time experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work Fridays , Saturdays and Sundays to support our healthcare team and ensure the highest standards of patient care in our specialized healthcare environment.
Requirements:
Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of Indiana. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a specialized healthcare environment. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Proficiency in medical equipment and software. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Additional Requirements for LPNs in
Specialized Healthcare Settings:
Must have experience and training in the specific healthcare specialty of the setting. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging environment. Must be able to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure. Must be able to establish rapport with patients and their families. Must be able to work with a diverse population of patients. Must be able to follow all safety and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or other healthcare professional. Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor patient vital signs. Assist with patient examinations and procedures. Educate patients on disease management and self-care. Document patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
