Job Overview:
Will be responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician based on their scope of training to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems, as well as preventive care. Services provided by the Clinical Office Assistant will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education. The Clinical Office Assistant will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards, as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.
Required Certifications/Education/Experience:
Certified Medical Assistant or nursing license in the state of Indiana. Education
  • CMA Must have successfully completed at a minimum, a certified/registered medical assistant program, preferably, one year of experience in a physician office/outpatient clinic. Education
  • CCMA:
    Completion of a Medical Assisting certification program. One year of clinical experience required or completion of the CMA Resident program at Memorial Hospital. Education
  • LPN/RN:
    Must have successfully completed an accredited licensed practical nurse training program with current registration in Indiana required. CPR Provider-C required. Education
RN:
Must have successfully completed an accredited registered nurse training program with current registration in Indiana required. must have an active RN license in the state if Indiana.
