Job Description

Overview Magnificat Family Medicine, LLC, aims to be a Christ-centered family healthcare center that provides integrated, compassionate, full-spectrum family medicine care to men and women of all ages and backgrounds. Our aim is to educate patients about their well-being to cultivate healthy individuals, families, and communities. We honor the Hippocratic Oath to "first do no harm" and to respect and uphold the value and dignity of all human life, from conception to natural death. We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. You will be responsible in working with primary care providers for the assessment and treatment of assigned patients. Put your skills and training to use in the various ways of family medicine. This may include patient phone consultation and oversight of interns, medical assistants, and onsite phlebotomists. Responsibilities Cooperate with providers to administer care & monitor/report changes for all types of patients. Communicate with medical providers regarding patient care. Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities. Maintain accurate patient medical records. Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. Administer injections, blood draws, procedure prep, Fetal Non-Stress Test, EKG, and other nursing care. Telephone patient care which may include visit follow-up questions, lab results, and addressing basic health concerns. Limited afterhours call-line staffing. Document management for patient care and follow-through and providing medical understanding for basic prior authorizations. Requirements Appropriate certification/licensure for RN or LPN Understanding and commitment to our company culture Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and goal oriented Computer proficient Superior customer service skills and empathy Dedication to professionalism Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EHR is a plus
